strangers

i must say, there are few times that i feel more alive than when i am learning about the lives of people i do not know.

i could spend hours reading about strangers’ lives. anything and everything about them i find fascinating. absolutely mind-blowing.

you, me, all of us. we are all just going about, doing our daily thing. it may seem extraordinary. it may seem routine.

the minute i become enveloped in the lives of strangers, my own life dissipates.

in an instant i am taken out of my mind and cocooned in that of another. at times i can barely handle how exciting it all is.

and that my friends, feels powerful.
